You epoxy it onto the OEM Charging handle, makes it easier to charge with large hands or wearing gloves.
DESCRIPTION:
- Available in GRAY, BLACK or FIRE ENGINE RED - use "Contact us" page to request custom color
- OEM handle is .86 inches/22mm long, with the extended handle it is 1.11 inch/29mm
- Extended handle has a textured grip. It looks like it does not seat all the way on but this is so the bolt will still lock back and clear receiver frame.
INSTALLATION:
- Clean the handle with fingernail polish remover (DO NOT USE ONE WITH ANY ADDITIVES)
- Use Gorilla brand clear 2-part epoxy (Does not come with this, available at any hardware store)
- Tape around the handle to catch any extra epoxy and to keep epoxy out of the ejector
- Mix the epoxy per the instructions (This sets in 5 minutes and cures in 24hrs)
- Apply a liberal amount to the inside of the extended handle with a Q-tip
- Apply some to the handle
- press the Extended handle on, wipe off any excess and remove the tape
- Lay the gun on the handle to make sure it is held in place and the epoxy does not run out of the extended charging handle.
- Wait 24hr for it to cure and enjoy!
