Large press on safety lever enlarger (red or black)

I like this product, makes accessing the safety much more easily. I used a little Loctite and it hasn't budged. The only way it could be improved on would be to manufacture the safety lever in one piece of steel, replacing the factory safety lever. Works good on my C9, plan on purchasing one for my 995 in the near future.

Overall good. Had little issues to install. Hole little smaller than safety level. But after I istall I can see improvement in operation.

I love my Hi-Point carbine, but ergonomics is not it's strong suit. The sheet-steel factory safety lever is utilitarian, but it presents a small surface area and can be difficult to operate without shifting your grip. After I installed an ATI stock (the one styled after the Beretta Storm), I found it even harder to engage, because the pistol grip on that stock makes it a little longer reach for my stubby thumb. I previously mounted a thumb stud from a knife making supplier on the lever. It worked fine, but not great. I just replaced it with this press-on safety lever enlarger, and am very happy with it. It appears to be 3D-printed plastic resin so time will tell how durable it is. I had to slightly enlarge the slot with a small file in order to fit the lever. Eventually it pressed on with firm pressure and seated with a couple light taps with a rubber mallet. It's not going to slip off. It gives a much larger surface area and I can quickly and easily engage and disengage the safety without taking my eyes off the target or shifting my grip.

Works like it should. Tight fit and makes it a lot easier to engage the safety.

Nice tight fit. Works great and solves the issue of the original small flat lever.
