This shroud is beautiful (cosmetically beautiful - polished and very clean lines and vents) and practical (added weight to barrel is nice for balance). No concerns or criticisms at all - perfect product from American (Texas!) folks. Highly recommend!

Really well made. It is SOLID and has a great, high-quality finish. It fits my CX4 perfectly and the shipping was very fast. It adds a good look to the CX4 and the extra weight helps tame muzzle flip for faster, more accurate follow up shots.

So I ordered the barrel shroud and was very impressed when it arrived. It was wrapped and packed with care. The machining and quality is off the charts. When I affixed it to the rifle, I had mixed feelings because it looks great but it also changes the balance of the rifle to the front. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but decided I would take it to the range and try it out before making up my mind. My experience at the range was great. The CX4 doesn’t have a ton of muzzle rise to begin with, but the barrel shroud virtually eliminates any muzzle rise when firing. I was able to keep all 35 of my shots in the 9 ring at 7 yards, coming from a low ready for 2-4 shot bursts. This was shooting both eyes open with a green laser. While this wasn’t long-range match shooting, it’s exactly what I’m looking for with this rifle. So this barrel shroud is a keeper!
