If you have already purchased and installed the AR MLOK handguard kit from JSARMSCO.com. This is a new improved version of the stock cap. It does require a new cut but looks more polished and cleans up the stock cut much better.
- 3D printed fore end cover/stock cap.
Miter saw Recommend to re-cut off the factory fore end, you are removing the 3rd rib only. You could remove that rib with a sharp knife and not recut the stock if you wanted. (see pictures). Drywall knife, flat file or sandpaper to clean up cut. Comes with complete set of easy-to-follow instructions.
NOTE: This new stock cap design comes standard with all DIY handguards kits as of August 15-2025.
