After putting 100+ through the riffle I burnt myself. I decided to get a shroud not really to protect myself from hot barrel but because I really like the way this one looks more than the Berretta one. Barrel is now tacticool looking. I haven't had a chance to spend some ammo and see if it is ok to touch. I will find out soon.

Oh yeah. Absolutely a must for the CX4. Be aware screws are already in thread holes. At first I thought I didn’t get any. But yup they are there. Highly highly recommended .

Decent price. Fast shipping. Easy installation. Fit and finish are perfect. Cosmetically, this shroud looks better than the Beretta original on the gun and unlike it's factory counterpart, you can still use the original case with the jsarmsco shroud. In practical use, the added weight on the barrel makes the carbine feel more balanced in your hands. I was a little worried about the 2 set screws coming loose or marring the barrel, but after several hundred rounds down range, the shroud is just as tight as the day I installed. Well done jsarmsco. I definitely recommend this shroud to all cx4 owners.
